Living in a bubble

I have a problem. When i think of my troop or other Girl Scout groups, I forget, sometimes, to actually internalize how busy they are. I mean really sit down and think about the fact that they have hours of homework a night (even the younger ones!), that homework might take longer than mine did, that they have sports, usually more than one, practices everyday, games, rehearsal for band/choir/theatre, Church youth groups or leadership programs, CAP...should I continue? I mean when i really think about it, it boggles my mind, every hour of everyday, chock full! I remember those days, and my Girl Scouts only met for 2 hours a month! I can't believe how much we ask of our girls!

I guess, to that end, its important to offer as many options as possible, and try not to have them build on each other too much so that if they miss a meeting or an event, they don't feel like they can't come to the next one.

Blocked!!

Hello all!
